4 The requirements of the entrance exam are:
a. Capacity test MCT-H (minimum score of 5 on a 9-point scale)
b. Oxford English Placement Test (minimum score of 65 points, which corresponds
with B2 proficiency level)
c. Selection interview
d. Work and leadership style test
More details on these tests and requirements can be found in appendix 5.
5 The entrance exam will be administered by or on behalf of the board of examiners.
6 The results of the entrance exam will be communicated to the student within 10 working
days. If the student passes the entrance exam, he will be exempted from the admission
requirements relating to previous education and he will be issued with a written statement
to this effect.

Enrolment
1 A student can only be enrolled if he complies with all the enrolment conditions in time
(preferably before 1 September but in any case no later than 30 September).
2 If a student wants to enrol for a study programme with an enrolment restriction (‘numerus
fixus’), he will also have to meet the enrolment condition of timely submitting or activating
the written confirmation of admission, as supplied by DUO.

Termination of Enrolment
1 Every student has the right to drop out in the course of the academic year and terminate
his enrolment. For every month that the student is no longer enrolled, he will receive refund
of a proportional part of the tuition fee. Any outstanding debts that the student may owe,
will be deducted from this refund.
2 Re-enrolment in the current academic year is not possible. The student must wait and enrol
for the new academic year starting on 1 September, provided that he did not receive a
negative binding recommendation regarding the continuation of studies.
3 If the student received a negative binding recommendation regarding the continuation of
studies, he will not be allowed to enrol for the same study programme at NHTV Breda,
unless
the negative binding recommendation is withdrawn by the board of examiners of the study
programme in question.
4 Contrary to the provisions of section 2, a student may re-enrol in the current academic
year, if there are any special circumstances involved. This, however, will only be possible
on the advice of the student counsellor and with the permission of the academy director.
5 A request for termination of enrolment must be submitted to Studielink (www.studielink.nl).
Studielink will forward this request to the student administration officers of NHTV. NHTV
will terminate the student’s enrolment with effect from the month following the month in
which the request for termination of enrolment was received through Studielink. Additional
information with regard to termination of enrolment can be obtained via DUO,
www.ocwduo.nl.
Upon termination of enrolment or re-enrolment, students are advised to make an
appointment with their student counsellor (via the secretarial office).
