What is this First Instant?
¿Qué es este Primer Instante?
Behind your eyes, in the naked unadorned space-like awareness, this clarity of seeing and knowing, is a
concept-less pure functioning. In this space of knowing the unknown is apparently transformed into the
known in an instant. Everything is known for what it is without any need of the mind adding words.
Everything appears in the immediacy of this first instant.
This moment right now is the first and only instant of presence awareness.
It never moves away. It can’t move away. You are life essence that appears as everything – you are THAT.
It is ineffable, indescribable, unfathomable and non-conceptual.
It is prior to the words ‘I am’.
You have always been that. It is ever prior to any content that appears in the mind. It is the knowing of all
that appears and disappears in the mind and in the world. This world and this mind are not two things.
The words ‘first instant’ simply means ‘before anything appears’. Before ‘time’ appears in mind or comes
into play.
You are present. I am present. I write in this presence and you read in this presence. It is all presence.
There is no other.
One could say we are both present in this immediate timeless presence. No separation. The appearance of
two is an appearance only. One Essence, appearing ‘as’ many things.
Detrás de los ojos, en la conciencia análoga-al-espacio, desnuda y sin adornos, esta
claridad de ver y conocer es un puro funcionamiento no-conceptual. En este espacio de
conocer, lo desconocido es aparentemente transformado en lo conocido en un instante.
Todo es conocido por lo que es, sin ninguna necesidad de agregar palabras. Todo
aparece en la inmediatez de este primer instante.
Este momento, ahora mismo, es el primer y único instante de presencia conciencia.
Nunca se aparta. No puede apartarse. Tú eres la esencia vital que aparece como todas
las cosas – tú eres ESO. Es inefable, indescriptible, incomprensible y no-conceptual.
Es anterior a las palabras ‘yo soy’.
Tú siempre has sido eso. Es siempre anterior a cualquier contenido que aparece en la
mente. Es el conocer de todo lo que aparece en la mente y en el mundo. Este mundo y
esta mente no son dos cosas.
Las palabras ‘primer instante’ simplemente significan ‘antes que cualquier cosa
aparezca’. Antes que el ‘tiempo’ aparezca en la mente o entre en juego.
Tú estás presente. Yo estoy presente. Yo escribo en esta presencia y tú lees en esta
presencia. Es todo presencia. No hay nada ‘otro’.
Uno podría decir que ambos estamos presentes en esta inmediata presencia atemporal.
Ninguna separación. La apariencia de dos es sólo una apariencia. Una Esencia
apareciendo ‘como’ muchas cosas.
This moment is nothing other than the apparent vast Presence of Eternity.
It spans, without a hint of movement, the entirety of everything there is. You and I and every other being
and non being are ‘together’ in this first instant of being. You cannot see me because ‘time’ and ‘space’
appear to separate us from each other. There is an apparent connection between us that I feel as being
quite palpable. It appears as this
apparent communication that is and can only ever be happening right now. This is now, as I type these
words into my keypad. It is also right now as your eyes scan these words.
This is presence. This living presence is intelligence itself. It is what you truly are and what I truly am. It is
not divided. It is one, this singular energy that is appearing as everything. It is one beginning-less and endless
movement – the activity of knowing.
There is only one awareness.
'Awareness of' is duality.
Este momento no es otra cosa que la aparente vasta presencia de la eternidad.
Abarca, sin el menor atisbo de movimiento, la totalidad de todo lo que hay. Tú y yo y
cada ‘otro’ ser (o no ser) están ‘juntos’ en este primer instante de ser. Tú no puedes
verme porque ‘tiempo’ y ‘espacio’ parecen separarnos a uno del otro. Hay una aparente
conexión entre nosotros que siento claramente palpable. Aparece como esta aparente
comunicación, que está y sólo puede estar ocurriendo ahora mismo. Esto es ahora,
mientras tipeo estas palabras en mi teclado. Es también ahora, mientras tus ojos
recorren estas palabras.
