Mindless path<br />

<strong>El</strong> camino de la no-mente<br />

The mind appears to go down many pathways, exploring all kinds of situations, possibilities and<br />

opportunities. At no point does the mind ever move away from this<br />

immediate presence.<br />

If the mind is brought back to the clear and present evidence of what actually is, it cannot wander off so<br />

easily. Yet in a flash it can appear to give in to some idea or habit and whosh, it is off on some magic carpet<br />

ride to a kind of dreamscape. None of it is real.<br />

The constant reminders here in the text may ‘sink in’ and so it may appear that the expressions assist in an<br />

apparent process of bringing your mind back to a clear and unobstructed view from its own original<br />

stateless nature – clear seeing. You cannot be separate from this immediacy, this living-ness.<br />

The source of it all is the life force – the life essence, which cannot be known as an object. It cannot be<br />

denied because it is the primary activity, beyond reach.<br />

La mente parece seguir diversos caminos, explorando todo tipo de situaciones,<br />

posibilidades y oportunidades. En ningún punto la mente se mueve fuera de esta<br />

inmediata presencia.<br />

Si la mente es ‘llevada de vuelta’ a la evidencia clara y presente de lo que realmente es,<br />

no puede vagabundear tan fácilmente. No obstante, en un flash puede aparentemente<br />

caer en la tentación de alguna idea o hábito y wushhh… se va de ‘viaje’ en alguna<br />

mágica alfombra hacia algún tipo de paisaje ensoñado. Nada de ello es real.<br />

Los constantes recordatorios aquí en el texto pueden ‘arraigar’ y así, puede parecer que<br />

las expresiones asisten en el aparente proceso de ‘llevar de vuelta’ a la mente a una<br />

visión clara y sin obstrucciones de su propia naturaleza original (no estado) – claro ver.<br />

Tú no puedes estar separado de esta inmediatez, de esta cualidad-viviente.<br />

La fuente de todo ello es la fuerza vital – la esencia vital, que no puede ser conocida<br />

como un objeto. No puede ser negada porque es la actividad primaria, más allá de<br />

alcance.<br />

All that appears to obstruct the open view is an apparent attachment to habitual beliefs and conflicting<br />

mind stuff.<br />

The cage (of habitual beliefs) will be rattled; the cage door may be flung open.<br />

The caged bird has sung its song about freedom for ages upon ages – but the cage is non existent – the<br />

question is, will it fly to its natural freedom?<br />

The caged bird has believed it is limited by its own perception of being in a cage, even though the cage is<br />

revealed to be non existent or the door falls off its hinges, the bird will not fly out to its own natural<br />

freedom.<br />

Todo lo que parece obstruir la visión abierta es un aparente apego a las creencias<br />

habituales y material mental conflictivo.<br />

La jaula (de creencias habituales) se sacudirá; la puerta de la jaula quedará abierta.<br />

<strong>El</strong> ave enjaulada ha cantado su canción de libertad a través de las épocas – pero la jaula<br />

es inexistente – la pregunta es: ¿Volará hacia su libertad natural?<br />

<strong>El</strong> ave enjaulada cree que está limitada por su propia percepción de estar enjaulada.<br />

Aun cuando la jaula se ha revelado inexistente, o la puerta ha girado en sus goznes, el<br />

ave no volará hacia su propia libertad natural.<br />

A strong desire to know and understand is enough. When every spare moment is given to the task of<br />

understanding, it will ‘do the job’ naturally. Most ‘seekers’ are constantly dispersing their energy by trying<br />

to ‘do something’ to free themselves and the very concept of ‘doing’ keeps the bondage in place.<br />

The bird in nature has no concept of being bound in a cage.<br />

The natural state has no concepts of bondage – no words to punish itself with. The natural state is prior to<br />

language, silent and free.<br />

It is not somewhere else – you do not need to go anywhere to find it.<br />

Those that are embedded in their conditioning will try to dismiss anything that challenges their comfort<br />

zone, which may be very uncomfortable.<br />

So be it. This information is apparently not for them.<br />

Un fuerte deseo de conocer y comprender es suficiente. Cuando cada momento libre es<br />

dedicado a la tarea de comprender, el ‘trabajo se hará’ naturalmente. La mayoría de<br />
