No primeiro plano, encontramos cuadro.
relembra a continuidade cultural.
Esta personagem conversa com
uma mãe indígena que parece sair
de um Guernica (9) mutilado e
falsificado que se encontra no
fundo, atrás do pintor. O artista
pode ignorar a violência das nossas
sociedades ?
L.C.: Depois das duas portas laterais,
podemos observar o corpo central do
tríptico.
H.B.V.: Bem, reconhecemos Picasso
(10) e García Márquez que se
lançaram numa conversa que parece
desopilante. O lugar que está
representado e os personagens que
estão à volta são a realidade ? Ou
são a representação gráfica da
história que os diverte tanto ?
¿El lugar representado y los
une manifestation d’égocentrisme ?
an indigenous mother who seems to have
stepped out of a kind of mutilated
En
the violence characteristic of our world?
L.C.: Between these two lateral panels
there’s the centr al “body ” of the
tryptich.
H.B.V.: Well, you can recognize Picasso
(10) and Garcia Marquez who are seem
to be engaged in a completely hilarious
dialogue. Are the place depicted and the
surrounding characters real? Or is it the
graphic re-rendering of history what is
making them laugh in this way?
L.C. In the foreground, a naked child
is hiding his eyes. Why?
H.B.V. No one really knows. So as not
to see the mixed-breed invented by
Goya, half-bird half- man, panicked and
feathered, strutting and looking about
for an exit? Or maybe he’s trying to
avoid the sight of the old tart et her Madame,
typically goya-esque figures that
evoke the oligarchy in power?
