9.2. Definición de <strong>continuidad</strong><br />
Definición 9.1 Sea f una función y a ∈ Dom(f) decimos que f es continua<br />
en x = a cuando<br />

La <strong>continuidad</strong> de f en x = a implica que se cumplan las condiciones:<br />
1. La función está definida en x = a, es decir exista f(a).<br />
2. Exista el límite de f en x = a.<br />
3. Los dos valores anteriores coincidan.<br />

Definición 10.1 Decimos que una función es discontinua en el punto x = a<br />
cuando no es continua en x = a.<br />
