LIFE'S COURSE
Splendid birth, life’s start,
the seeds of growth,
where a beating heart,
swears eternal troth.
Lively childhood, endless trip,
travelling in a fantasy land,
where the world tries to grip
a child’s trusting hand.
Adolescence, maturity age,
when personality gets free,
turning the infancy page,
and growing as the roots of a tree.
Adulthood, the longest way,
where, as a fragile sigh,
You get into a memory flight
whereas the eternal youth wants to stay,
And in a never-ending infancy,
people face day after day,
our indifferent and cruel society,
where kindness seems to delay.
And finally, arrives death,
Calming our remorse.
Leaving with our everlasting soul,
giving us our last breath.
And someone told me that life leaves you scars,
but if you cry because the sun disappears,
you'll be blinded by your own tears,
and they'll prevent you from seeing the stars.
