he new collection Silhouette Dimension accentuates without dominating. Its rimless,
straightforward design makes the new eyewear a clear statement for individualists.
Without burdensome elements such as rims, hinges, screws, and excess weight, the
straight, wide temples and bridge are made from high-tech titanium, which is responsible for
the unmistakable wearer comfort thanks to its remarkable lightness.
The minimalist architecture of the 21st century was the inspiration for designer Gerhard
Fuchs as he created Silhouette Dimension. Parallels between architecture
and eyewear design can also be detected in the materials, as glass
and metal are among the most important design elements in both
disciplines. While architects use these materials to create aesthetic
spaces, Silhouette uses glass and high-tech titanium for
the aesthetics of its rimless eyewear.
The collection combines all of the advantages and characteristics
–rimless, screwless, hingeless, and weightless design –of
the Silhouette classic Titan Minimal Art, yet still manages to
speak its own, clear language. The wide high-tech titanium temples
make an indisputable statement, and the vertically arranged twocolour
trim on the temples produces a refined, harmoniously soft play
of colours. The collection is available in five different lens shapes to fit
any face type, with six colours to choose from.
