Use O<strong>the</strong>r Equipment With Your <strong>Flat</strong> <strong>Panel</strong> TV 05<br />

The flat panel TV’s remote can control a maximum of two (2) recorders, two (2) playback devices, and one (1) AV<br />

system at a time.<br />

To select and use <strong>the</strong> various HDMI Control functions for a connected <strong>Pioneer</strong> AV system, recorder, or player, use<br />

<strong>the</strong> panel’s HDMI Control menu.<br />

To access <strong>the</strong> menu, follow <strong>the</strong> steps below.<br />

1 ) Press HOME MENU.<br />

2 ) Select HDMI Control from <strong>the</strong> main menu.<br />

Use <strong>the</strong> arrow but<strong>to</strong>ns <strong>to</strong> highlight an option <strong>the</strong>n press ENTER.<br />

Switch <strong>to</strong> AV Sound<br />

Note: Pressing HDMI CTRL on <strong>the</strong> remote also causes <strong>the</strong> HDMI Control menu <strong>to</strong> open.<br />

Option Description<br />

Disc Naviga<strong>to</strong>r displays a title list of connected recorder or player<br />

CTRL <strong>Panel</strong> (AV-SYS) displays <strong>the</strong> control panel for connected AV system<br />

Playback CTRL <strong>Panel</strong> displays <strong>the</strong> control panel for connected recorder<br />

or player<br />

Switch <strong>to</strong> AV Sound/ switches between <strong>the</strong> flat panel TV screen and <strong>the</strong><br />

(Switch <strong>to</strong> TV Sound) connected AV system for sound output<br />

Use <strong>the</strong> following but<strong>to</strong>ns <strong>to</strong> control functions such as <strong>the</strong> disc<br />

naviga<strong>to</strong>r on a recorder or player.<br />

1 VOL +/–<br />

(adjusts <strong>the</strong> volume for an AV system)<br />

2 MUTING<br />

(turns off <strong>the</strong> sound while <strong>the</strong> video continues <strong>to</strong> play)<br />

3 Arrow but<strong>to</strong>ns<br />

(navigates <strong>the</strong> menu screen)<br />

4 Color but<strong>to</strong>ns (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow)<br />

(controls a BD player)<br />

5 TOOLS<br />

(assigns <strong>the</strong> code for a <strong>Pioneer</strong> BD player)<br />

6 ENTER<br />

(activates <strong>the</strong> selected function)<br />

7<br />

RETURN<br />

(returns <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> previous menu screen)<br />
