Composer’s Note*
Attracting forces of my childhood (or maybe better, the one I always wanted to have!),
Journal is indeed a very autobiographical piece.
It is divided into four parts: Childhood, Love, Death, After Death…As a whole, my musical
world is part of a definite realm enlightened by others, those being more subtle. While
writing the piece, I always felt a presence which wanted me to write this very specific
music.

Attirant les forces de mon enfance (voire même mieux, celle que j’ai toujours voulu avoir !),
Journal est en fait une pièce très autobiographique.
Elle se divise en quatre sections : L’enfance, L’amour, La mort, Après la mort… Dans son
ensemble, mon monde musical fait partie d’un royaume défini et illuminé par les autres,
ceux-ci étaient plus subtils. En écrivant la pièce, j’ai constamment senti une présence qui
voulait que j’écrive cette musique-là, en particulier.
Anmerkung des Komponisten
Indem es die Kräfte meiner Kindheit heraufbeschwört (oder besser, der Kindheit, die ich
immer haben wollte), ist Journal in der Tat ein sehr autobiographisches Stück.
Es besteht aus vier Teilen: Childhood, Love, Dead, After Death… Aufs Ganze gesehen ist
meine musikalische Welt Teil eines klar umrissenen Reiches, das von anderen erleuchtet
ist, von solchen, die subtiler sind. Während ich das Stück schrieb, spürte ich immer eine
Präsenz, die wollte, dass ich genau diese bestimmte Musik schrieb.
