We will respond as quickly as possible.AUTUMN EXCURSION►►►◄◄This year, the proposed destination is BELGIUM, from Friday 29 September to Thursday 5 October <strong>2006</strong>.The main themes will be history, painting (mainly Flemish) and architecture. The group will visit in FlandersGhent – cathedral of Saint Bavon, the town hall, the Belfry and the Castle, Bruges (capital of WestFlanders) – 13 th century Belfry, the church of Nôtre-Dame, and the Groeninge Museum, and Antwerp –which presents some interesting architecture- visits to the Royal Museum of Art, Rubens’ House and theport.In Walloon, the group will discover Chimay – with a variety of monuments including a 17 th century castle,Mons - the Collegial, the Grand’ Place and the gothic town hall, Liège – Palace of the prince Bishops, theuniversity, Bastogne – site of one of the great battles of the 2 nd World War, and Vèves – 12 th century castlebelonging to the descendants of the Beaufort..Three nights will be spent in Ghent, capital of East Flanders and home of Charles V, and three at Dinant inthe Ardennes. Departure from <strong>Geneva</strong> on 29 September by Brussels Airlines.
