Travel and Tourism – Top Schools at Show
Discovering tourism trades, participating in conferences and workshops,
meeting former graduates; the schools work on placing students in contact with
professionals.
FFTST
The French Federation of Tourism Technicians
and Scientists brings together graduate
professionals in the fields of information and
multimedia. One of its main roles is to foster
dialogue between the sector’s actors and the
trainers, such as with its seminars at IFTM Top
Resa. All day today, the FFST is presenting the
tourism sector’s different trades at the ESCAET
stand.

ESCAET
The Ecole Supérieure de Commerce specialised
in tourism is hosting workshops and conferences
for students and professionals at IFTM Top Resa,
including 4 workshop sessions oriented around the
theme of innovation. Those wishing to attend should
be at the noon meeting point - at the Travel Hub
in the exhibition space dedicated to start-ups. The
ESCAET is one of the juries of the Start-Up Contest
and the Travel Agents Cup.

The Lycée Saint-Vincentde-Paul
de Nîmes
which features a BTS tourism section, has been a partner
of IFTM Top Resa since 2008. This partnership each
year allows young students to undertake internships
as welcoming hosts and hostesses. “Our participation
at IFTM TOP RESA has facilitated the reception of our
students by exhibitors at tourism events in Lyon, Marseille
and even Milan”, says manager Eric Gateau. Today,
the school’s teachers consider such participation of the
students as true added value for the diploma.

Découvrir les métiers du tourisme, participer à des conférences et à des ateliers,
rencontrer d’anciens diplômés… Les écoles placent leurs étudiants au contact des
professionnels.
FFTST
La Fédération Française des Techniciens
et Scientifiques du Tourisme regroupe des
professionnels diplômés, dans les domaines de
l’information et du multimédia.
L’un de ses rôles principaux – favoriser le dialogue
entre les acteurs et les formateurs du secteur -,
l’amène à organiser des conférences sur le salon
IFTM. La FFST présente les métiers du tourisme
aujourd'hui pendant toute la journée sur le stand de
l’école ESCAET.

ESCAET
L’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce spécialisée
tourisme anime sur l’IFTM Top Resa des ateliers
et des conférences destinées aux étudiants et
aux professionnels, dont 4 ateliers orientés
autour de la thématique de l’innovation. Pour
y assister, rendez-vous à 12h au Travel Hub,
espace d’exposition dédié aux start-ups.
L’ESCAET fait partie des jurys de la Start-Up
Contest et de la Travel Agents Cup.

de Nîmes
qui dispose d’une section BTS Tourisme, est partenaire
depuis 2008 d’IFTM Top Resa. Ce partenariat permet
chaque année à de jeunes étudiants d’effectuer un stage
d’hôtes et d’hôtesses d’accueil. "Notre participation à
IFTM TOP RESA a facilité l’accueil de nos étudiants
auprès d’exposants sur des événements touristiques
à Lyon, Marseille mais également à Milan", estime
son responsable Eric Gateau. Aujourd’hui, l’équipe
pédagogique du lycée considère la participation de ses
étudiants comme une véritable valeur ajoutée au diplôme.
