To use the “BRAVIA” Sync function, be<br />

sure to turn on the system and all<br />

connected device after completed the<br />

HDMI connection.<br />

Depending on the settings of the<br />

connected device, the Control for HDMI<br />

function may not work correctly. Refer to<br />

the operating instructions of the device.<br />

Control for HDMI - Easy Setting<br />

You can set the system’s [Control for<br />

HDMI] function automatically by<br />

enabling the corresponding setting on<br />

the TV.<br />

“DONE” appears in the front panel<br />

display when the Easy Setting is<br />

completed.<br />

Note<br />

You can set [Control for HDMI] function<br />

manually if the above setting is not<br />

working. For details, see “[HDMI Settings]”<br />

(page 26).<br />

System Power Off<br />

When you turn off the TV, the system<br />

and the connected device will turn off<br />

automatically.<br />

Note<br />

The system does not turn off automatically<br />

while playing music on this system.<br />

One-Touch Play<br />

When you play content on a device<br />

(Blu-ray Disc player, “PlayStation®4”,<br />

etc.) connected to the system with an<br />

HDMI cable, the system and TV are<br />

turned on automatically and the input of<br />

the system is switched to the<br />

appropriate HDMI input.<br />

Note<br />

The feature above may not operate with<br />

certain devices.<br />

If you set [Standby Through] to [Auto] or<br />

[On] (page 26), then play back the<br />

contents on a connected device when the<br />

system is in standby mode, sound and<br />

image can only be output from the TV<br />

while the system remains in standby<br />

mode.<br />

System Audio Control<br />

If you turn on the system while you are<br />

watching the TV, the TV sound will be<br />

output from the speakers of the system<br />

automatically.<br />

The volume of the system will be<br />

adjusted when you adjust the volume<br />

using the TV’s remote control.<br />

If the TV sound was output from the<br />

speakers of the system the last time you<br />

watched the TV, the system will be<br />

turned on automatically when you turn<br />

on the TV again.<br />

You can also enjoy this feature when<br />

using Twin Picture function (Picture and<br />

Picture (P&P)) on your TV.<br />

If the [TV], [HDMI1], [HDMI2] or [HDMI3]<br />

input is selected, the sound can be<br />

output from the system.<br />

If other than [TV], [HDMI1], [HDMI2] or<br />

[HDMI3] input is selected, the sound is<br />

output only from the TV when using<br />

the Twin Picture function. When you<br />

turn off the Twin Picture function, the<br />

sound is output from the system.<br />

Audio Return Channel<br />

You can enjoy TV sound via the system<br />

by using just one HDMI cable. For details<br />

of the setting, see “[Audio Return<br />

Channel]” (page 26).<br />

Echo Canceling Sync<br />

You can reduce the echo when you use<br />

the Social Viewing function while<br />

watching TV programs. Conversation<br />

becomes clearer.<br />
