Dato’ Sri Douglas Uggah Embas to PIW 09.04.2010 PERHILITAN 04 LAPORAN TAHUNAN 2010 136 KALENDAR AKTIVITI CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES Pada 9 April 2010, Menteri Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar (NRE) Y.B. Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas dan isteri serta rombongan telah mengadakan lawatan kerja ke Paya Indah Wetlands. Turut serta dalam rombongan tersebut ialah Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha II Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar, Ketua Pengarah PERHILITAN, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah I PERHILITAN serta wakil-wakil Jabatan di bawah Kementerian. Seramai kira-kira 40 orang terlibat di dalam lawatan ini. Tujuan lawatan ini adalah bagi mengetahui perkembangan terkini pengurusan PIW serta menerangkan aktiviti-aktiviti ekopelancongan sedia ada serta perancangan masa depan yang bakal diperkenalkan kepada pelawat. On 9 th April 2010, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE), Y.B. Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas and wife together with entourage visited Paya Indah Wetlands. Were also present, Deputy of Secretary General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Deputy Director General II of DWNP and representatives from agencies under the Ministry of NRE. There were around 40 people involved in the visit. The objective of the visit was to know the updates on PIW’s management and also to explain the available ecotourism activities and upcoming plans to be introduced to visitors. Lawatan Kerja Menteri Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar ke Taman Negara Pahang Official Visit by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment to Taman Negara Pahang 10.04.2010 05 Pada 10 April 2010, Menteri Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar iaitu Y.B. Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas telah mengadakan lawatan ke Taman Negara Pahang bersama isteri dan keluarga. Turut sama mengiringi beliau ialah Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zoal Azha bin Yusof dan Ketua Pengarah PERHILITAN, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Abd. Rasid bin Samsudin. Y.B. Menteri telah meluangkan masa mengunjungi Kuala Terenggan dan melawat Santuari Kelah di Sungai Tahan. Y.B. Menteri bergambar dan melepaskan ikan kelah di Santuari Ikan Kelah, Lubuk Tenor. On 10 th April 2010, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Y.B. Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas and family had an official visit to Taman Negara Pahang. They were accompanied by Secretary General of Natural Resources and Environment, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zoal Azha bin Yusof and Director General of DWNP, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Abd. Rasid bin Samsudin. They visited Kuala Terenggan and Kelah Sanctuary in Sungai Tahan. Y.B. Minister then took pictures with the fish before releasing the fish at Kelah Sanctuary in Lubuk Tenor.
KALENDAR AKTIVITI CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES 137 Pada 31 Mei 2010, Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zoal Azha bin Yusof telah mengadakan kunjungan singkat ke Zoo Melaka. Tujuan lawatan beliau ialah untuk meninjau harimau yang di tangkap dari Tanjung Rambutan, Perak. Turut sama mengiringi beliau adalah Encik Abd. Rahim bin Osman, Pengarah PERHILITAN Negeri Melaka dan Pengarah Zoo Melaka, Encik Hassan bin Kassim. Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zoal Azha telah melawat ke kawasan kuarantin harimau dan melihat sendiri keadaan harimau yang di tangkap tersebut dan kawasan sekitar zoo. Beliau telah memberi beberapa pandangan dan teguran mengenai penambahbaikan keceriaan zoo. On 31 st May 2010, Secretary General Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zoal Azha bin Yusof had a short visit to Zoo Melaka. The purpose of the visit was to have to look at the captured tiger from Tanjung Rambutan, Perak. He was accompanied by Encik Abd. Rahim bin Othman, Director of Melaka’s DWNP and Encik Hassan bin Kassim, Director of Zoo Melaka. Y. Bhg. Dato’ Zoal Azha visited the tiger quarantine area to inspect the condition of the captured tiger and the surroundings of Zoo Melaka. He gave his opinions and advices on how to improve the condition of the Zoo. Pada 1 Jun 2010, Timbalan Ketua Setiausaha 1 Kementerian Sumber Asli dan Alam Sekitar Y.Bhg. Datuk Aziyah binti Mohamed telah mengadakan lawatan mengejut ke Zoo Melaka. Beliau diiringi oleh Ketua Pengarah PERHILITAN Dato’ Abd. Rasid bin Samsudin, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah 1 Puan Misliah binti Mohamad Basir serta pegawai-pegawai Kementerian dan PERHILITAN lain. Tujuan lawatan adalah untuk meninjau keadaan harimau yang baru ditangkap serta kawasan sekitar Zoo Melaka. Rombongan tersebut telah dibawa ke kuarantin harimau dengan menaiki trem. Beliau juga sempat meninjau ke kawasan eksibit Orang Utan dan burung Milky stok. On 1 st June 2010, the Deputy Secretary General I, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Y.Bhg. Datuk Aziyah binti Mohamed made a surprise visit to Zoo Melaka. She was accompanied by Director General of DWNP, Dato’ Abd. Rasid bin Samsudin, Deputy Director General I, Puan Misliah binti Mohamad Basir and officers from the Ministry and DWNP. The purpose of this visit is to inspect the condition of the recently captured tiger and the surrounding of Zoo Melaka. They were brought to the tiger quarantine area by tram. Y.Bhg. Datuk Aziyah also had a chance to visit Orang Utan and Milky Storks Exhibit Areas.
