Sejumlah 10 ekor burung Upeh telah dilepaskan pada 5 Februari dan<br />
21 November <strong>2010</strong> di PKHL Kuala Gula, Perak dengan kerjasama<br />
Zoo Negara. Sejumlah 31 ekor burung Upeh telah berjaya dilepaskan<br />
sejak program ini bermula pada tahun 2007 dan sehingga Disember<br />
<strong>2010</strong>, sejumlah 13 ekor daripada program pelepasan masih berada di<br />
sekitar Kuala Gula. Burung yang dilepaskan telah membina sarang,<br />
bertelur dan menghasilkan dua ekor anak. Pembinaan sarang ini<br />
merupakan aktiviti pembinaan sarang ketiga selepas direkodkan<br />
pada September 2007 dan April 2008.<br />
A total <strong>of</strong> 10 Milky Storks were released on the 5 February <strong>and</strong> 21<br />
November <strong>2010</strong> in WCC Kuala Gula, Perak. This programme was<br />
carried out in collaboration with Zoo Negara. A total <strong>of</strong> 31 birds were<br />
released since 2007 <strong>and</strong> until December <strong>2010</strong>, 13 birds released are<br />
still present in Kuala Gula. Birds from the release programme were<br />
building nest <strong>and</strong> hatch a couple <strong>of</strong> chicks.This nesting activity was<br />
the third after the first <strong>and</strong> the second attempt in September 2007<br />
<strong>and</strong> April 2008, respectively.<br />
