Aubade is presenting a capsule collection bringing<br />

all the creativity of the Dutch designer to the world of<br />

French lingerie<br />

Luxurious materials, complex techniques and intricate<br />

workmanship serve as the meeting ground for<br />

Van Herpen’s sophisticated haute couture whimsy<br />

and the disciplined savoir-faire of Aubade. The result<br />

is Sensory Illusion, 10 spectacular pieces that<br />

give rise to a magical botanical universe in which the<br />

movements of the human body complement those<br />

of nature, featuring embroidered leaves intended to<br />

exalt a woman’s femininity. The graphic, almost architectural,<br />

lines have been magisterially juxtaposed to<br />

highlight the organic allure of the decorations, leaving<br />

space for sensuous see-through effects at the<br />

décolleté and magnificent embroidered panels on<br />

the back portion of the bras. There are two chromatic<br />

versions: Golden Leaves, a delightful mix of bronze<br />

foliage and black lines; and Silk Rose, in various iridescent<br />

tones of pink. This capsule release includes<br />

a soft, triangular bralette, an underwired little triangle<br />

model, a very low-cut padded bra and a push-up<br />

number. To be combined with skimpy bikini briefs,<br />

traditional briefs and shorty models featuring allover<br />

lace treatments. The selection is completed by a<br />

bodysuit, a jaunty short petticoat and a garter belt.<br />

The collection will be available in selected stores,<br />

Aubade boutiques and on the brand’s website.<br />

Radical creativity, daring exploration of materials<br />

and an unmistakable aesthetic vision distinguish the<br />

amazing design work of Iris van Herpen. Ever since<br />

her memorable first fashion show back in 2007, she<br />

has continued to inspire absolute awe and wonder<br />

with her stunning methods of expression and multidisciplinary<br />

approach – she’s a pioneer in the use of<br />

3D prints in the sphere of fashion – and since 2011<br />

she has been a member of the prestigious Chambre<br />

Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne. Her dramatic<br />

creations draw inspiration from the most bizarre<br />

reaches of the realm of nature, combining traditional<br />

techniques with innovative new ones in completely<br />

new, pioneering ways. Just to give you an idea of her<br />

importance, six of her dresses have been purchased<br />

by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and<br />

her creations have been displayed, among other exclusive<br />

venues, in the Victoria & Albert Museum in<br />

London and the Parisian Palais de Tokyo.<br />

F.lli Campagnolo is an established company of longstanding<br />

repute located in Romano D’Ezzelino, specializing<br />

in the sport sector, home furnishings and<br />

children’s clothing. It was founded shortly after the<br />

Second World War just as the Fifties were turning into<br />

the Sixties, inspired by the entrepreneurial intuition<br />

of the entire family of five siblings who knew how to<br />

grow and transform an artisanal family-run operation<br />

into a bona fide industrial operation.<br />

«Our company’s story begins more than fifty years<br />

ago with an open-air market stall in our beloved<br />

hometown of Bassano del Grappa, with one woman,<br />

Maria Disegna – my grandmother,” recounts the<br />

owner, Maria Pia Campagnolo. “Thanks to her determination<br />

and boundless passion, this remarkable<br />
