normalizzata.
seguente inflazionamento:
• LME Zinco: +30%
• “Mercato Italia Zn Al 4 Cu 1”, fonte Assomet:
+29%
• “Mercato Francia Zamac-5”: +35%
follow the trend of scrap rather than that of primary
aluminium.
More specifically, behind the sharp jump in the
January-March 2021 period, there was the recovery
of Chinese industry, which in that context
was expressed with a growing demand for scrap
aluminium. This increase in the demand for secondary
aluminium originated in the manoeuvre
undertaken in 2020 by the Chinese government
with import restrictions on scrap. The effect was
the interruption of scrap imports by China, in favour
of aluminium alloy imports. The result was a
market imbalance between supply and demand
and an increase in secondary aluminium prices
which reached primary levels. A condition that
then returned to normal.
Zinc alloy prices in the yearly average 2022 on
2021 had the following inflation:
• LME Zinc: +30%
• “Italian Market Zn Al 4 Cu 1”, source Assomet:
+29%
• “French market Zamak-5”: +35%
