The theme of the conference is
‘Transforming Civil Society, Citizenship
and Governance: The Third Sector in an
Era of Global (Dis)Order.’ This theme was
selected to explore two distinct sets of
issues. First, how is the increasing
political, economic, and social
integration of the world impacting on the
Third Sector and its work? Second, how
is the internationalization of Civil Society
impacting on the nature of governance
and citizenship?
