The Historiography of genocide, red. Dan Stone Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan, 2008. 2 Alan Rosenberg, og Gerald E. Myers (Red.): Echoes from the Holocaust: Philosophical Reflections on a Dark Time (Philadelphia: Temple University Press 1988), s. 421. 3 Andre representanter for slike perspektiver er Elie Wiesel som hevder at ”… Auschwitz cannot be explained … the Holocaust transcends history” eller ”The dead are in possession of a secret that we, the living, are neither worthy of nor capable of recovering”, se Ibid. 4 Dan Stone: ‘The Historiography of Genocide: Beyond ‘Uniqueness’ and Ethnic Competition’, i Rethinking History, 8.årgang. 1, 2004. 5 Yehuda Bauer: ‘Correspondence: “Gypsies and the Holocaust” ‘, i The History Teacher, 25.årgang. 4., 1992. 6 Yehuda Bauer: Rethinking the Holocaust New Haven: Yale University Press, 2001, s. 20. What makes the Holocaust a uniquely unique genocide?’, i Journal of Genocide Research, 2.årgang. 3., 2000. 7 Stone: ’The Historiography of Genocide’, i: s. 135. 8 Ibid. 3., 2010. og Tore Linné Eriksen: Det første folkemordet i det tjuende århundret : Namibia 1903- 1908 Oslo: Unipub, 2007. 9 Raphael Lemkin: Axis rule in occupied Europe: laws of occupation, analysis of government, proposals forredress Washington: Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, 1944. 10 Israel W.
