Quando tenho tempo, gosto de fazer laboratório,
pesquisar sobre o universo do personagem,
entender como é a essência das pessoas que vivem
em determinadas circunstancias
Como se prepara para interpretar um personagem?
Quando tenho tempo, gosto de fazer laboratório, pesquisar
sobre o universo do personagem, entender como
é a essência das pessoas que vivem em determinadas
circunstâncias. Acredito que isso enriquece muito o
personagem. No mais, gosto muito de deixar fluir e ver
o que acontece durante a cena. Recebo o texto, a marca
do diretor e o resto sai na hora.
Recebeu o prêmio Quem como ator revelação em 2014.
O que significou para sua carreira?
Esse sem dúvida foi um momento muito feliz e de extrema
gratidão, por ter sido voto popular e por estar concorrendo
com colegas talentosíssimos. Foi uma realização logo no
meu primeiro trabalho de evidência na televisão. Espero
que tenha sido o primeiro de muitos.
Qual conselho daria para quem quer ser ator e está
começando na carreira?
Que tenham antes de tudo respeito e amor pela profissão,
que saibam que essa não é uma profissão fácil e que exige
dedicação e muito foco. Os tropeços serão incontáveis e
os nãos também, mas saibam que a cada salva de palmas
a força do ator triplica e o desejo de seguir em frente só
aumenta.
Já se identificou com algum personagem?
Me identifico com todos eles. Em algum lugar da minha
personalidade tenho um pouco de cada um, o que faço é
deixar aflorar. Sinto que são eles que precisam se identificar
comigo, pois a vida passa ser deles enquanto trabalho.
Conhece Curitiba? O que acha da cidade?
Conheço muito bem, já estive algumas vezes na cidade
e até tenho meus lugares preferidos. Jardim Botânico, o
Museu do Olho, o Teatro Guaíra. Além das pessoas e da
culinária que é uma delicia.
How do you prepare to interpret a character?
When I have time, I like to do a complete backgroud, research
on the universe of the character, and understand the
essence of the people that live in certain circumstances. I
believe this very much enriches the character. Other than
this, I really like to let things flow and see what happens
during a scene. I get the text, the Director’s mark and the
rest comes out at the time.
Received the Quem Award as the best upcoming in 2014.
What has it meant to your career?
This, no doubt, was a very happy moment and I am extremely
grateful, by it being by popular vote and because
I was competing with some very talented fellow actors.
It was an accomplishment in my first job of any note on
television. I hope it was the first of many.
What advice can you give to one who wants to become
an actor and is starting a career?
That before all, they have respect and love for the profession,
knowing that this is not an easy profession and
that it requires dedication and focus. The missteps are
countless and the “no’s” too, but also I know that with
every round of applause, the strength of the actor triples,
and the desire to go forward only increases.
Have you ever identified yourself with a character?
I identify myself with all of them. Somewhere in my personality,
I have a little of each, what I do is let it come
out. I feel that they need to identify with me, as my life
becomes theirs while I’m working.
Do you know Curitiba? What do you think of the city?
I know the city very well; I’ve been to the city a few times
and I even have my favorite places, the Botanical Gardens,
the Museu do Olho (Museum of the Eye), and the Guaíra
theater. In addition to the people and culinary delights.
