<strong>Líder</strong>es transformacionais conseguem aperceber-se de certas<br />
ideias e sinais de grupo que transmitem as suas emções <strong>–</strong> uma<br />
capacidade que vai além da inteligência emocional básica de um<br />
indivíduo.<br />
SINOPSE<br />
Estar atento e ter em conta as emoções dos outros é uma<br />
qualidade reconhecida como chave fundamental nos líderes<br />
transformacionais dos dias de hoje <strong>–</strong> líderes que inspiram<br />
e cativam as suas pessoas. No entanto, quando a maior parte<br />
dos autores e especialistas se referem às “pessoas dos líderes”<br />
ou “seguidores” estão tacitamente a referir-se a indivíduos.<br />

Transformational leaders can pick up on cues from a group that convey<br />
its emotions — a skill that is beyond the individual-based emotional<br />
intelligence.656<br />
IDEA SUMMARY<br />
Being aware and attending to the emotions of others is recognized as<br />
one of the key skills of today’s transformational leaders — leaders who<br />
inspire and engage their people. However, when most leadership experts<br />
and researchers talk about a leader’s ‘people’ or ‘followers,’ they are<br />
tacitly referring to individuals. In other words, the transformational<br />
