ABAF (Associação Baiana das Empresas de Base<br />
<strong>Florestal</strong>) atua há 18 anos na defesa e desenvolvimento<br />
do setor florestal do Estado. O trabalho<br />
da associação fortaleceu o setor madeireiro do<br />
Estado e ajudou a estabilizar a Bahia como o<br />
maior produtor de celulose do país. A partir de 2022, Mariana<br />
Lisbôa assume a presidência do Conselho Diretor da ABAF durante<br />
o biênio que vai até 2024. Mariana é a primeira mulher a<br />
assumir o cargo e contou sua história e os planos para a associação<br />
durante a sua gestão.<br />

he State of Bahia Association of Forest-based<br />
Companies (Abaf) has been working for 18 years in<br />
the defense and development of the State’s Forest-based<br />
Sector. The Association’s work strengthens<br />
the State’s Forest-based Sector and helps stabilize the State of<br />
Bahia as the Country’s largest pulp producer. In 2022, Mariana<br />
Lisbôa assumed the Presidency of the Abaf Board of Directors<br />
for the two-year period that ends in 2024. Lisbôa is the first<br />
woman to assume the office and told her story and plans for<br />
the Association during this period.<br />

Advogada e Head Global de Relações Corporativas da Suzano<br />
S/A. Formada em Direito, com larga experiência na área<br />
Ambiental e mais de 20 anos de atuação profissional, mais<br />
da metade deles dedicados ao setor florestal, hoje representa<br />
institucionalmente a Suzano na liderança de projetos envolvendo<br />
os setores público e privado, em todos os níveis: municipal,<br />
estadual, federal e internacional. Sob sua gestão, também está<br />
toda a área de Licenciamento Ambiental da Suzano.<br />
Mariana Lisbôa is a lawyer and the Global Head of Corporate<br />
Relations at Suzano S/A. She graduated in Law and has<br />
extensive experience in the Environmental Area with more than<br />
20 years of professional experience, more than half of them<br />
dedicated to the Forest-based Sector. Today businesswise, she<br />
represents Suzano in leading projects involving the public and<br />
private sectors at all levels: Municipal, State, Federal, and International.<br />
Under her management, she is also responsible for the<br />
entire environmental licensing area of Suzano.<br />
