O SSI oferecido pela DAFO utiliza o Forrex, um agente
líquido para extinguir as chamas e garantir resultados. Após
alguns anos utilizando o pó químico, o Forrex foi desenvolvido
pela DAFO em 1993, para não somente apagar o princípio do
incêndio, mas como também evitar uma possível reignição
do fogo, ocorrência que acontece com grande frequência. A
ativação do sistema é automática e é feita por um cabo sensor
que detecta o calor do fogo e dispara o sistema, liberando o
Forrex sobre o fogo. Dessa maneira, a DAFO oferece um SSI
completo que inunda totalmente o equipamento, apagando de
forma imediata a chama e resfriando os componentes quentes
da máquina. O sistema automático permite o máximo de eficácia
possível, garantindo uma rápida detecção do princípio de
incêndio e a extinção total da chama em segundos. Joel Carlos
Filho, consultor de vendas da Testato, destaca a importância
desse funcionamento. “Com o sistema automático, a detecção
e extinção imediata do incêndio permitem que o fogo seja
apagado antes de danificar o equipamento.”
O trabalho da DAFO começa, em alguns casos, já no desenvolvimento
das máquinas. Sandro Soares, da Komatsu, diz que
é um trabalho realizado a quatro mãos, unindo a expertise do
fabricante de máquinas e a DAFO, que é a fornecedora oficial
da Komatsu. “Aliamos tudo que a DAFO pode nos oferecer em
relação à tecnologia e a ajustamos para estar presente nas
máquinas que produzimos”, descreve Sandro.

In 2016, Dafo chose Testato, a company from the State of Minas
Gerais, as its official distributor in Brazil. Raphael Torres,
Manager of Testato, reveals that this choice was based on
Testato’s after-sales quality. “Testato has more than 20 years
of experience in the maintenance of heavy machinery, and Dafo
saw in this work what it needed in its Brazilian representative,”
says the Testado Manager.
The FSS offered by Dafo uses Forrex, a liquid agent, to extinguish
the flames and ensure results. After a few years of using
only a chemical powder, in 1993, Dafo developed Forrex, which
extinguishes any initial fire and avoids possible reignition, an
occurrence that happens very often. The system’s activation is
automatic and is done by a sensor cable that detects the heat
of the fire and initiates the system, releasing Forrex to cover
the fire. In this way, Dafo offers a complete FSS that entirely
floods the equipment, immediately extinguishing the flame
and cooling the hot components of the machine.
The automatic system provides as much effectiveness as
possible, ensuring rapid detection of the incipient fire and the
total extinction of any flame in seconds. Joel Carlos Filho, a Sales
Consultant at Testato, values the importance of this operation.
“With the automatic system, the immediate detection and
extinguishing of the fire lead to the fire being extinguished
before damaging any equipment.”
Dafo’s work begins, in some cases, even at the time of
machine development. Komatsu’s Soares says it is a 4-hand
job, uniting the machine manufacturer’s expertise and Dafo,
