he special report of this new issue of the REFE-
RÊNCIA Madeira Industrial is about Effisa, a company
celebrating ten years of activities in 2023.
A young company, but with much experience
in its field. It recently signed a new partnership
that expands its presence in the international market. In this
issue’s Interview, we talked to Euclesio Finatti, coordinator of
the ABNT Study Commission to prepare the light wood-frame
construction system standard. Other topics covered in the stories
are the advantages of automation in sawmills, the growth
of the participation of wood doors for the Brazilian industry
in the global market, and, in a climate of a countdown, we
anticipate what visitors and exhibitors will find at Fimma 2023,
