parte do Sistema Indústria e suas unidades regionais, vinculadas
às federações. O Senai, criado com a missão de
formar profissionais para a indústria nacional, tem papel
fundamental neste processo. Esse esforço também é realizado
pelo Sesi, que atua para melhorar a qualidade da
educação e promovendo ambientes de trabalho seguros
e saudáveis, e do IEL, que promove ações de capacitação
empresarial. E o modelo de atuação do Sistema Indústria,
que conta com o apoio das federações na operacionalização
destas iniciativas, gera um efeito multiplicador que
acaba se espalhando por todo o país.

ÀS INDÚSTRIAS?
Atentas às demandas em relação a padrões de sustentabilidade,
as indústrias estão cada vez mais conscientes
que o negócio pode até ser promissor e com probabilidade
de lucro, mas o que está sendo decisivo para o mercado
de investimento são as boas práticas empresariais que
incorporam valores ambientais, sociais e de governança
corporativa. O direcionamento com foco em ESG (Environmental,
Social, Governance) e no comprometimento
das metas atreladas aos ODSs (Objetivos do Desenvolvimento
Sustentável) refletem diretamente em requisitos
mercadológicos que se estendem na cadeia de valor,
por meio de grandes empresas âncoras, dos principais
setores produtivos, que possuem papel muito importante
de influenciar fornecedores, normalmente pequenas e
médias empresas, no engajamento de adotar práticas
sustentáveis. As entidades representativas da indústria
cumprem o papel de agente indutor de sustentabilidade,
compartilhando conhecimento e incentivando as indústrias
a adotarem os critérios ESG na estratégia empresarial,
como fator impulsionador de melhor desempenho
operacional, exercício da transparência e do diálogo com
as partes interessadas, de maneira a assegurar um ambiente
mais favorável aos negócios.

Nossa missão é representar e defender os interesses
de todos os industriais brasileiros, do pequeno ao grande,
do norte ao sul, da agroindústria à ciber indústria.
Trabalharemos para materializar o apoio à indústria já
manifestado pelas lideranças políticas nacionais e regionais.
Assim, a indústria brasileira poderá ampliar sua contribuição
para o Brasil alcançar novo patamar de desenvolvimento
econômico e social. Nossa matriz energética
limpa, a capacidade brasileira de inovação, nosso pujante
mercado interno e a posição do Brasil em defesa da paz
e do entendimento em um momento de aumento das
tensões globais são forças capazes de dar novo ímpeto
à indústria e colocá-la em nova trajetória de crescimenof

DO YOU INTEND TO DEVELOP THESE INITIATIVES
WITH THE INDUSTRIAL SECTOR?
By being attentive to the demands regarding
sustainability standards, companies are increasingly
aware that the business may be promising and likely
profitable. However, good business practices that are
decisive for the investment market are good business
practices that incorporate environmental, social, and
corporate governance values. The targeting focused
on ESG and the commitment of the goals linked to the
Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) reflect directly
on market requirements that extend in the value chain
through large anchor companies of the main Productive
Sectors, which have a significant role in influencing
suppliers, usually small and medium-sized companies,
in the commitment to adopt sustainable practices.
The representative entities of the Industrial Sector
fulfill the role of inducing sustainability agents, sharing
knowledge, and encouraging industries to adopt ESG
criteria in business strategy as a driving factor for better
operational performance, exercise of transparency, and
dialogue with stakeholders to ensure a more favorable
environment for business.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN INITIATIVES YOU IN-
TEND TO DEVELOP AT CNI?
Our mission is to represent and defend the interests
of all Brazilian industrialists, from small to large,
from North to South, from Agribusiness to the Cyber
segment. We will work to materialize the support for
the Industrial Sector already expressed by national and
regional political leaders. Thus, the Brazilian Industrial
Sector can expand its contribution to Brazil to reach a
new economic and social development level. Our clean
energy matrix, Brazil’s capacity for innovation, our thriving
domestic market, and Brazil’s position in defense
of peace and understanding at a time of rising global
tensions are forces capable of giving new impetus to
the Brazilian Industrial Sector and putting it on a new
trajectory for sustainable growth. There is no great country
in the world without a great industry. That is what
we all strive for.
