Bazele colecției au fostpuse de învățătorul și pasionatul colecționarlocal Haszmann Pál și este îngrijită de fiiiacestuia. Sunt expuse o bogată colecție deistorie și etnografie locală secuiască: mobiler,țesături de interior și costume, lăzi de zestre,documente și fotografii, obiecte casnice, sobede teracotă etc. Muzeul dispune și de o secțieîn aer liber, unde sunt expuse case țărăneștide lemn strămutate din împrejurimi, porți secuiești, însemne funerare, grinzi sculptate, o bogată colecțiede mașini și unelte agricole.The institution functions in the Domokos Gyula manor, a monument of architecture built in the classicalstyle in 1831 on the foundation of an earlier Renaissance building. The collection was gathered by thelocal school teacher and collector Haszmann Pál and continued by his sons, the present curators of themuseum. The visitors can admire a rich collection of local history and ethnography: furniture, costumesand textiles, daily life objects, documents and photographs, terracotta stoves. The museum has also anopen air department, presenting wooden village houses brought from the surroundings, gates, funerarytokens, sculptural beams, a rich collection of agricultural machinery and tools.131
