Muzeul de istorie prezintă mărturiiarheologice și istorice începând din paleoliticpână în epoca contemporană, piese dacice,piese rezultate din săpăturile arheologice dela Cetatea Sucevei. Pot fi văzute pieseexcepționale: tronul de la Lipcani (eneolitic),idolul androgin de la Mioveni (eneolitic),pandantiv de aur cu almandine de la Rotopănești (secolul al V-lea), monede de aur bizantine, inelul deaur al domnitorului Bogdan I, veșminte descoperite în mormântul domnitorului Petru I Mușat (1375 -1391), veșminte de curte (secolul al XVII-lea) descoperite arheologic și restaurate.The museum complex has departments of archaeology, history, natural history, art, memorials andobservatory. The museum includes archaeological artefacts from the Palaeolithic to the contemporaryage, Dacian finds, artefacts from the archaeological excavations at the Suceava Fortress. Exceptionalitems include: the "throne" from Lipscani (Eneolithic period), the androgynous from Mioveni (theEneolithic), the gold pendant with almandines from Rotopănești (the 5th c.), Byzantine gold coins, thegold ring of Prince Bogdan I, clothes uncovered in the tomb of Prince Peter I Mușat (1375 - 1391),364
