De asemenea, muzeul deține obiecte din centrulde cojocărie Vădastra, piese textile de la începutulsecolul XX, ouă încondeiate (din Oboga).The Ethnography Department includes valuablecollections of costumes and rugs from the ethnographic areas of Olt, Romanați, Câmpia Boianului(Boian Plain); pottery from the traditional centres on the Olt Valley: Oboga, Corbeni, Româna; sheepskincoats, remarkable are those from Vădastra. It is worth mentioning the collections of customs, dyed eggs(Oboga), folk architecture from the Olt area, head kerchiefs, artefacts used in traditional professions andcrafts, reflecting a long-lasting civilization from Olteț, Olt and Vedea down to the Danube.355

Secția de artă are la bază donația Spiru Vergulescu (50 de picturi, 30 desene șiilustrații). Alături de această colecție secția mai deține lucrări de pictură aparținând unor artiști românicunoscuți ca: Ciucurencu, H. Catargi etc. De asemenea pot fi întâlnite lucrări de grafică, sculptură, artădecorativă, icoane pe lemn rusești (din prima jumătate a secolului XIX) și autohtone (din zona Oltului).The archaeology collections stand proof of the occupation continuity and uninterrupted civilization onthe lower Olt Valley by items illustrating the prehistorical or ancient material and spiritual culture: pottery,tools, anthropomorphic and zoomorphic statuettes; others prove the Geto-Dacian civilization, theRoman civilization in the area of the Alutan and trans-Alutan limes, the occupation continuity in themigrations age (two cultures of the same period were discovered in Olt: Chilia Culture and IpoteștiCulture near Slatina-Cândești-Ciurelu), as well as the unbroken ties with the Byzantine Empire (theByzantine silver coin hoard from the 7th century, digital fibulas and traditional Byzantine lamps). TheMiddle Ages reflects in a series of testimonies illustrating the links some princes had with Olt county:Vlad Vintilă, Michael the Brave, Matei Basarab and Constantine Brancovan; documents on greatfamilies, such as: Buzești, Brancovan, Deleanu, etc.; weapons; rare books; ornaments; numismatics -coins or coin hoards proving longstanding trade relations in an important customs place like Slatina(documented on the 20th of January 1368).The modern age comprises collections of documents, weapons, prints, period photographs, decorativeart items and emphasizes the role of the urban settlement in the revival and national emancipationprocesses.Muzeul Mănăstirii Clocociov - SLATINA [Clocociov Monastery Museum]Adresa: Str. Închiliile de pe latura de sud este organizat depozitul de carte veche. În casa stăreției sunt expuse icoane,obiecte de cult, veșminte preoțești, carte veche. De o mare valoare sunt cele patru icoane împărăteștilucrate în atelierul domnesc de la Târgoviște, comanditar fiind Marco Danovici, mare armaș în vremealui Matei Basarab, pentru ctitoria sa de la Sâmburești (Olt).The monastery complex was built by Diicu Buicescu, high official during Matei Basarab's reign.
