yarışmaları için çok ciddi teşvik veriyoruz.
Tasarımda desteklediğimiz yaklaşık 500 firma
var. Toplamda 143 öğrencinin de yurt dışında
eğitimlerini destekliyoruz. Bu yarışmada ödül
alan gençlerin yurtdışında eğitimlerini de biz
karşılayacağız.” dedi.
Türkiye İhracatçılar Meclisi (TİM) Başkanı İsmail
Gülle, “İlkini başlattığımız Kumaş Tasarım
Yarışması’nın bugün 13’üncüsü yapılıyor. Geldiğimiz
noktada aldığımız yol gerçekten çok
büyük. Türkiye olarak gideceğimiz yolu biliyoruz
ve bu yolda çok mesafe kaydettik. Katma
değerli ürünlerle değer yaratmaya devam
ediyoruz. Bu ülkenin geleceği tasarımda,
Ar-Ge’de, inovasyonda. Ülkemizin bunu
yapacak alt yapısı, kadroları, üniversiteleri ve
gençleri var. Ülkemizin hedeflerini gerçekleştirmek
için gece gündüz çalışan ihracatçılarız.
İhracat bu ülkenin geleceği” dedi.
13.Uluslararası Kumaş Tasarım Yarışması’nın
açılış konuşmasını yapan İstanbul Tekstil ve
Hammaddeleri İhracatçıları Birliği Başkanı
Ahmet Öksüz ise, “Sektörümüz için Ar-Ge,
tasarım ve inovasyon büyük önem taşıyor.
Tasarımın gücü de ancak ve ancak eğitimli
insan kaynağı ile ölçülür. Ürünlerde katma
değeri, sadece sahip olduğunuz yeni
makinalar değil, eğitimli insan kaynağı da
yaratır. Sektörümüz tasarımı tüketen değil,
üreten bir sektör konumunda. Bugün Türkiye
ortalamasının çok üzerinde bir katma
değerle ihracat gerçekleştiriyoruz bunu da
markalaşmaya, tasarıma ve tasarımcıya
verdiğimiz önemle elde ediyoruz. Cari fazla
veren bir sektör olarak ülke ekonomimize
çok ciddi bir katkı sağlıyoruz” dedi.
Dünya’nın en büyük beşinci kumaş tedarikçisi
olduklarını vurgulayan Öksüz, “Dünya’nın
en büyük beşinci, Avrupa Birliği’nin en büyük
ikinci kumaş tedarikçisi olan sektörümüz, aynı
zamanda AB’deki en büyük rakibimiz Çin’in
yaklaşık 2 katı birim fiyatla AB’ye ihracat
gerçekleştiriyor. Tasarımcılarımızın ve tasarım
gücümüzün bu başarıdaki payı çok yüksek.
İTHİB olarak gerçekleştirdiğimiz tasarım
yarışmaları ile Türkiye’nin küresel rekabet
gücüne güç katmakta kararlıyız. Bu amaç
doğrultusunda yaratıcı, genç ve dinamik
moda tasarımcılarını sektörümüze kazandırmak
amacıyla, 13 yıldır aralıksız İTHİB Kumaş
Tasarım Yarışması’nı düzenliyoruz. Uluslararası
alanda gerçekleştirdiğimiz tasarım yarışmamız,
İtalya, Almanya, ABD, Filistin, İngiltere
ve Rusya başta olmak üzere 10’dan fazla
ülkeden yaklaşık 60 yabancı başvuru aldı. Bu
da sektörümüzün dünya genelinde gördüğü
büyük ilginin ve yarışmamızın uluslararası
bilinirliğinin en açık kanıtı.” diye konuştu.

Turkey Exporters Assembly (TIM) President Ismail
Gülle said the followings: “The 13th edition of
the Fabric Design Competition which we have
already started is being held today. At the point
we have reached, we see that the way we have
passed is really very big. We know the way to
go and we save a lot of progress in this respect
as Turkey. We continue to create value with value-added
products. The future of this country is
in design, R & D, and innovation. Our country has
the infrastructure, staff, universities and youth to
do this. We are exporters working day and night
to realize our country’s goals. Export is the future
of this country at all” he said.
Mr Ahmet Öksüz, Istanbul Textile and Raw
Materials Exporters’ Association President who
has made the opening speech of the 13th
International Fabric Design Competition, said
the followings: “R & D, design and innovation
are very important for our sector. The strength
of design is measured only by trained human
resources. The added value in the products creates
not only new machines you have, but also
trained human resources. Our sector is a sector
that does not consume design, but produces for
sure. Today we realize value added export with
the figures of more than Turkey averages at all.
We do achieve this by branding, design and the
importance we give to our designers. As a sector
that gives current surplus; we make a serious
contribution to our economy” he said.
Öksüz who emphasized that they are the fifth
largest fabric supplier of the world, continued
as follows. “The world’s fifth largest, the second
largest textile supplier of the European Union, our
sector also exports to the EU at about 2 times of
the unit price of our biggest competitor China in
the EU. Our designers and design power have a
very high share in this success. With design competitions
we realize as İTHİB, we are very decisive
to strengthen the Turkey’s global competitiveness.
For this purpose, we have been organizing the
İTHİB Fabric Design Competition for 13 years, in order
to bring creative, young and dynamic fashion
designers to our sector. Our international design
competition has received nearly 60 foreign applicants
from more than 10 countries including Italy,
Germany, USA, Palestine, England and Russia. This
is the most evident proof of the great interest of
our industry and the recognition of our “competition”
in an international arena” he said.
