Chotyně – Hrad Grabštejn
Hrad Grabštejn, jeden z nejstarších hradů severních
Čech tyčící se nad Chotyní, vzbuzoval odedávna
nejbujnější fantazie.
Mezi místními se dlouho tradovalo, že v hradních zdech
nebo v okolí starých budov jsou ukryty nesmírné poklady,
že ve zdech jsou zazděné ubohé děvečky a ponurými
chodbami bloudí za měsíčních nocí duchové a bílé
přízraky. Ze sklepení hradu prý vede i tajná chodba,
snad až do zámečku v Hrádku nad Nisou. Duchy tady
však potkat můžeme. Stačí vstoupit do hradní kaple
sv. Barbory s úchvatnou malířskou výzdobou. Říká
se, že je plná dobrých duchů, kteří vystupují z obrazů
na stěnách, dotýkají se prsty návštěvníků a modlí
se za ně. Svůj přízrak má i Chotyně samotná. Na jejím
okraji v jedné zahradě můžeme spatřit starý smírčí
kříž, o jehož původu nikdo nic bližšího neví. Opravdu
ne? Tak proč se v jeho blízkosti tu a tam zjevuje francouzský
voják v uniformě ze 17. století?
Chotyně – Grabštejn Castle
Grabštejn Castle, one of the oldest castles in North
Bohemia which towers over Chotyně, has long been
associated with the wildest imagination.
Locals have long said that in the castle walls or in the
surroundings of the old buildings there are many
treasures while behind the walls there are poor
girls who are imprisoned as well as spirits and white
ghosts who haunt in the corridors on any night when
the moonlight is bright. There is reportedly a secret
corridor leading from the castle's cellar all the way to
the château in Hrádek nad Nisou. However, we can encounter
ghosts. Simply enter the castle's Chapel of St.
Barbara with its remarkable painted adornments. It is
said that it is full of good spirits, who come out of the
paintings on the walls, touch visitors’ fingers and pray
for them. Chotyně itself has its own unique character.
At its edge in one garden we can find an old conciliation
cross, the origin of which no one really knows the
details. Really not? Then why does a French soldier in
uniform from the 17th century appear nearby?
