ωκεανών παραμένει
ανεξερεύνητο
Οι ωκεανοί περιέχουν το 97% του νερού
τη Γης , ενώ το 99% του ζωϊκού βασιλείου
αναπτύσσονται και ζουν σε αυτούς. Στην
πραγματικότητα όμως μόνο το 10% αυτών
έχουν εξερευνηθεί και έχουν βρεθεί
212.906 θαλάσσια είδη, ενώ πιθανώς
υπάρχουν άλλα 25 εκατομμύρια ακόμα είδη
άγνωστα για μας.

grow and live in them. In reality

Γη – ένα αντιφατικό
όνομα
Η αγγλική λέξη “earth = γη” έχει
τις ρίζες της στην αγγλοσαξονική
λέξη “erda” που σημαίνει έδαφος
ή χώμα. Δεν είναι αντιφατικό, αν
φανταστεί κανείς ότι το 71% του
πλανήτη μας καλύπτεται από νερό;
The Earth is a
contradictory name
The English word “earth = land” has
its roots in the Anglo-Saxon word
“erda” which means ground or soil.
There is not contradictory, if you
imagine that 71% of our planet is
covered by water.
Η Γη είχε ένα δίδυμο
πλανήτη
Επιστημονικές έρευνες έδειξαν ότι
κάποτε η Γη μας είχε ένα δίδυμο
πλανήτη, μικρότερο από αυτήν με το
όνομα ”Θεία”. 4.533 δισεκατομμύρια
χρόνια πριν ο πλανήτης Θεία
συγκρούστηκε με τη Γη. Από τη
συντριβή αυτή , ένα μεγάλο κομμάτι
του πλανήτη Θεία συνδυασμένο με
υλικά από τη Γη, δημιούργησαν τη
Σελήνη. Οι λόγοι που οι επιστήμονες
πιστεύουν κάτι τέτοιο είναι ότι η
Σελήνη είναι ένας πλανήτης αρκετά
μεγάλος σε σχέση με το μέγεθος
της Γης μας , ενώ έχει στην ύλη της
στοιχεία παρόμοια με αυτά της Γης.
