Eating together with the familyPreparing varied meals is important, so the childgradually learns to eat many different kinds of food.Give the child various fruits and vegetables,different types of meat and fish, as well as bread,rice and pasta.When the child is approx. 9 months old, it can starteating the same food as the rest of the family. It isimportant that the whole family sits and eatstogether and that the child learns to eat unassisted.It is well for a child to sit at the table in a high chair.Already at approx. 5 months, the child can begin todrink from an ordinary cup or glass. You can givethe child tap water to begin with and later slowlyaccustom the child to drinking whole milk from thecup.Barnet spiser med familienDet er vigtigt at variere maden, så barnet gradvist lærer atspise meget forskellig mad. Giv forskellige slags frugter,grøntsager, fiske- og kødtyper og giv også både brød, ris ogpasta.Når barnet er ca. 9 måneder, kan det begynde at få densamme mad som den øvrige familie. Det er vigtigt, at helefamilien sidder og spiser sammen, og at barnet lærer at spiseselv. Det er godt for barnet at sidde i en høj stol ved bordet.Allerede fra barnet er ca. 5 måneder, kan det begynde atdrikke af almindelig kop eller glas. Du kan give barnet vandfra vandhanen i begyndelsen og senere langsomt vænnebarnet til at drikke sødmælk i koppen.26
