Description
1 I. GWR_OSG Observatory Dual Superconducting Gravity Sensor and
Refrigeration System, including -
• GSU-4A: Superconducting Gravity Sensing Unit (GSU) with dual
spheres. One sphere will be standard mass between 4 to 6 grams; best
effort will be made to make second mass as large as possible – but at
least in range of 12 to 30 grams;
• TM-7B: GWR Cryogenic Tiltmeters (with magnetic damping);
• TCS-6: Automatic Tilt Compensation System;
• HTK-4: Helium Transfer Kit;
• Dewar head heater to prevent condensation
• OGD-35L-S: Observatory SG Liquid Helium Dewar, 0-Boiloff while
refrigeration system is operating;
• OGD-35-REF: 4 Kelvin Refrigeration System and Vibration Isolation
system. Includes the SHI Cryocooler Model SRDK-101E-A11E,
manufactured to GWR specifications. Helium Compressor is aircooled.
Vibration isolation assembly design allows easy removal of
cryocooler for service Dewar Pressure controller maintains constant
Dewar pressure while refrigeration system operates.
2 II. Integrated Electronics and Data Acquisition System for Dual Sphere
Gravimeter, including -
• GEP-3A: Gravimeter Electronics Package;
• TREE-4: Temperature regulated electronics package
• DPS-4: Current Supply/Heater Pulser;
• DDAS-3 OSG Digital Data Acquisition Package, including;
1. GWR Instruments Data Acquisition Controller (DAC);
2. Dual (2) High Resolution 7 Digit DVMs (Agilent 34420A Nano
Volt Meters);
