1.2 Auswirkungen von Liquitditätserträgen 1.2 Impact of Liquidity Returns<br />
den Fonds im Beispiel 10,6%, was sicherlich nicht schlecht<br />
ist, aber dennoch deutlich das volle Potential von <strong>Private</strong><br />
<strong>Equity</strong> Investitionen nicht auszuschöpfen vermag. Es gibt<br />
zwei hypothetische Situationen, in denen Gesamtertrag <strong>und</strong><br />
interner Zinsfuß gleich sind:<br />
• Falls sowohl das nicht abgerufene Kapital als auch alle Ausschüttungen<br />
aus dem Fonds zum selben Ertrag investiert<br />
werden könnten, den der <strong>Private</strong> <strong>Equity</strong> Fonds erzeugt.<br />
• 100% der Verpflichtung würden am ersten Tag in den<br />
<strong>Private</strong> <strong>Equity</strong> Fonds investiert <strong>und</strong> am letzten Tag vollständig<br />
zurückgezahlt werden. In dieser Situation gäbe es<br />
überhaupt keine nicht abgerufenen Verpflichtungen.<br />
Anstatt diese unrealistische Situation zu analysieren, schauen<br />
wir uns einen beschleunigten Ablauf an, welcher im nächsten<br />
Szenario (B) beschrieben wird (Abbildung 2):<br />

• If both <strong>und</strong>rawn capital and all distributions from the f<strong>und</strong><br />
could be invested at the same return as that generated by<br />
the private equity f<strong>und</strong>.<br />
• 100% of the commitment would be invested in the private<br />
equity f<strong>und</strong> on day 1 and fully repaid on the last day. In<br />
this situation there would be no <strong>und</strong>rawn commitments at<br />
all.<br />
Instead of analysing this unrealistic situation, we take a look<br />
at an accelerated schedule as described in the next scenario (B)<br />
(Chart 2):<br />
