Auf der Automechanika ist Ford
durch die Ford Service Organisation
(FSO) auf dem Stand des ZDK vertreten.
Das Hauptthema des Standes
ist die Euro-5-Gesetzgebung, die von
den Fahrzeugherstellern fordert,
dass sie den unabhängigen Werkstätten
den Zugang zu Reparaturund
Wartungsinformation ermöglichen.
Darüber hinaus müssen sie
Diagnose- und Software-Updates anbieten.
Dazu hat die FSO das Onlinesystem
IORS entwickelt, das auf der
Messe vorgestellt wird. Das Programm
gehört zu den Bewerbern für
den Automechanika Innovation
Award.
Ford is represented at the Automechanika
this year by its Ford
Service Organisation (FSO) and can
be found at the ZDK (the German
Association for Motor Trades and
Repairs) stand. Ford‘s focus is on
the Euro 5 legislation that requires
manufacturers to ensure that independent
operators have easy, standardised
access to information on
the repair and upkeep of vehicles.
This obligation covers on-board diagnostic
systems and software updates.
FSO is also at the Automechanika
with an IORS. The program
is one of the candidates for the
Automechanika Innovation Award.

Mercedes-Benz präsentiert unter

und Diagnose im Bereich

„Virtual Reality Service Center“ eine
dreidimensionale Führung durch das
Innenleben eines Fahrzeugs an.

its parts and logistics portfolio a
variety of offerings related to workshop
and equipment. Among other
things at the carmaker‘s stand, you
will find original replacement parts,
the online sales platform WebParts,
the workshop diagnostics method
Xentry Diagnostics, and specialized
tools, repair methods and equipment.
A highlight at the Mercedes
exhibit is the expert demonstration
of repair methods and diagnostics in
the “Werkstatt live” area. In the
“Virtual Reality Service Center” you
can take a 3D tour of the inner workings
of an automobile.
