ABISPLAN has been in the market<br />
for more than 25 years<br />
The software was developed exclusively for<br />
the application in project planning. The initial<br />
focus was on the quick drawing of plans.<br />
A 3D version for 3-D presentations and the<br />
resulting 2D plan generation followed soon<br />
afterwards.<br />
Especially photorealistic presentations have<br />
been improved over the last years. ABIS developed<br />
real time rendering in cooperation<br />
with European universities as part of a research<br />
project, which was f<strong>und</strong>ed by the EU.<br />
This real time rendering enables you to walk<br />
through a building like in a computer game.<br />
Light sources can be placed and their impact<br />
is calculated prior to the walk-through. These<br />
light sources can be dimmed or increased<br />
(see picture on the left and upper right).<br />
Files are automatically sent to the popular<br />
ray-tracing-program POV-Ray for the calculation<br />
of top-quality pictures, whereas all necessary<br />
data for this calculation is transferred<br />
to ABISPLAN (see picture below). �<br />

ABISPLAN ist nunmehr seit über 25<br />
Jahren am Markt<br />
Die <strong>Software</strong> wurde ausschließlich für die<br />
Anwendung in der Bauplanung entwickelt.<br />
War anfangs vor allem das schnelle Zeichnen<br />
von Plänen im Vordergr<strong>und</strong>, wurde bald<br />
auch eine 3D Version zur 3-D Darstellung<br />
<strong>und</strong> der daraus möglichen automatischen<br />
2D-Plan Generierung fertig gestellt.<br />
In den letzten Jahren wurde besonders an<br />
der Verbesserung der photorealistischen Darstellung<br />
gearbeitet. Dabei entwickelte ABIS<br />
in Zusammenarbeit mit europäischen Universitäten<br />
in einem durch EU-Gelder geförderten<br />
Forschungsprojekt ein Realtime Rendering,<br />
welches das Durchschreiten eines<br />
Gebäudes wie in einem Computerspiel erlaubt.<br />
Dabei können auch Lichtquellen gesetzt<br />
werden, deren Einfluss auf das Bild vor<br />
dem interaktiven Durchgehen berechnet<br />
wird. Lichtquellen können bei Betrachtung<br />
des fertigen Bildes stärker aufgedreht oder reduziert<br />
werden (siehe Bild links <strong>und</strong> rechts<br />
oben).<br />
Zur Berechnung von qualitativ hochwertigen<br />
Bildern werden die Dateien automatisch<br />
an das bekannte Ray-Tracing Programm<br />
POV-Ray übergeben, wobei alle zur Berechnung<br />
nötigen Daten von ABISPLAN übernommen<br />
werden (siehe Bild unten). �<br />
