Intelligente Objekte falten sich selbst<br />
Origami ist <strong>die</strong> Kunst, aus einem Blatt Papier komplexe Gegenstände zu falten.<br />
Daran erinnern <strong>von</strong> US-Forschern entwickelte Gegenstände - <strong>die</strong> sich jedoch<br />
selbst in eine bestimmte Form falten.<br />
Ein flaches Kreuz aus Kunststoff mit einigen Aussparungen faltet sich plötzlich<br />
<strong>von</strong> selbst zu einem kleinen Kästchen, das sich auch noch mit Laschen verschließt.<br />
4D-Druck nennen <strong>die</strong> Forscher vom Georgia Institute of Technology<br />
(Georgia Tech) um Jerry Qi das: ein Objekt aus dem 3D-Drucker, das seine Form<br />
än<strong>der</strong>t.<br />
Was heute möglich ist, ist erst <strong>der</strong> Anfang. Der 4D-Druck wird Materialien in jedem<br />
Bereich revolutionieren: Wird sich Kleidung bald schon unserer Körperform<br />
