ist. Die Sitze sind elektrisch einstellbar, für eine bessere
Kommunikation leicht zueinander angewinkelt und
bieten selbst auf langen Strecken den höchsten Komfort.
Auch ein anderes Merkmal sorgt in dieser Konfiguration
für konkurrenzlosen Luxus und schafft das erste global
erhältliche »Drei-Box-SUV«. Eine Glaswand trennt die
Passagierkabine vom Gepäckraum und schafft ein abgeschlossenes
System für die Insassen. Neben der klassenbesten
Ruhe im Innenraum wird an den heißesten und kältesten
Orten der Welt ein weiterer Vorteil deutlich: Dank der
abgetrennten Kabine bleibt die Temperatur des Innenraums
selbst dann konstant, wenn der Gepäckraum geöffnet ist, da
weder heiße noch kalte Luft eindringen kann.
Eine Vielzahl anderer Spitzentechnologien macht den
Rolls-Royce Cullinan zum fortschrittlichsten Fahrzeug
seiner Klasse. Dazu gehören der Aufmerksamkeitsassistent,
ein 4-Kamera-System mit Panorama-, Rundum- und
Helikoptersicht, Nachtsicht- und Sehhilfe einschließlich
Tag- und Nachtzeiten, Warnung vor Fußgängern und
Wildtieren, aktive Geschwindigkeitsregelung, Kollisionswarnung,
Querverkehrswarnung, Spurverlassens- und
Spurwechselwarnung, ein 7 x 3 Zoll großes, hochauflösendes
Head-Up-Display, WLAN-Hotspot sowie natürlich die
neuesten Navigations- und Entertainment-Systeme.
Das letzte Puzzlestück im Rolls-Royce Cullinan, das für
Effortless, Everywhere sorgt, ist die »Everywhere«-Taste.
Ein kurzes Antippen genügt, um die volle Bandbreite der
Offroad-Fähigkeiten des Fahrzeugs zu aktivieren. Der Fahrer
kann nun auch das Setting weiter verfeinern, um perfekt
über jeden Untergrund hinweg zu gleiten – ob nun über
schlechte Wege, Schotter, nasses Gras, Schlamm, Schnee
oder Sand. Um souverän durch tiefsten Schnee und Wasser
zu gelangen, bietet der Cullinan 540 Millimeter Wattiefe.
Der Cullian ist ab sofort bei Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
Dresden – Thomas Exclusive Cars GmbH – konfigurierund
bestellbar. Die Auslieferung erfolgt ab 2019. Wer vorher
schon probefahren möchte, kann dies ab Dezember bei
Thomas Exclusive Cars tun.
When Rolls-Royce announced three years ago that it would
launch Cullinan, it did so in the knowledge that its customers
around the world had asked it to build »The Rolls-Royce of
SUVs«, with luxury, performance and usability not seen before in
the SUV market. Many of these customers were younger, very successful
high-net-worth individuals who are heavily engaged in the
experience economy, and wanted a Rolls-Royce that would take
them to the ends of the Earth in ultimate luxury. »Cullinan is luxury
in its purest form blended with perfect practicality and off-road
capability,« comments Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO Rolls-Royce

For the first time a Rolls-Royce has an opening tailgate, called »The
Clasp«. In a nod to the era when luggage was mounted on the exterior
of the motor-car, so the occupants did not travel with their belongings,
the rear profile of Cullinan is a two-part, »D-Back« format,
with the bustle denoting the place of the luggage. The pièce de
résistance to ensuring that the Rolls-Royce Cullinan is Effortless,
Everywhere is the »Everywhere« button, one single push is all it
takes to harness all the aforementioned peerless Rolls-Royce engineering
and unleash all of Cullinan’s off-road capability. Once engaged,
the driver can finesse the off-road setting to glide over any situation,
whether it be rough track, gravel, wet grass, mud, snow or sand delivering
all 850Nm of torque to all four wheels without interruption.
The Cullian can now be configured and ordered from Rolls-Royce
Motor Cars Dresden – Thomas Exclusive Cars GmbH. It will be
delivered as of 2019. If you would like to test drive the Cullian
