Wenn ein Trend <strong>–</strong> wie aktuell das Thema Wohnlichkeit <strong>–</strong><br />
sehr dominant ist, zeigt sich an anderer Stelle häufig ein<br />
Gegentrend: Es wird langsam wieder minimalistisch in unseren<br />
Wohnungen. Das bedeutet, dass wir die ganzen Dekound<br />

Vereinfachung wird durch die Reduktion von Haushaltsund<br />
Konsumgütern gesucht. Eine Kombination von pastelligen<br />
Grau-Tönen und Naturmaterialien ergänzt durch ein<br />
altes Möbelstück von der Oma und haptisch ansprechende<br />
Wohntextilien macht den wohnlichen Minimalismus mit<br />
seiner Clean Desk-Optik in matten Oberflächen und warmen<br />
Farben zur überzeugenden Alternative. Cool und kuschelig:<br />
ein vielversprechendes Duo.<br />

20<strong>19</strong> was more international than ever before. Specialist dealers<br />
and top international visitors from the furniture trade and interior<br />
design, many of them from the top 30 retail chains worldwide, did<br />
not want to miss the furnishing fair.<br />
The imm cologne does not show an excerpt, but the whole world<br />
of furnishing and living, from classic box furniture to solutions for<br />
maximum sleeping and seating comfort, from the holistic living<br />
worlds of international premium brands to the highlights of design<br />
editors from all over the world.<br />
The home is becoming more and more important and is even being<br />
expanded as a home, retreat, shelter and meeting place with friends<br />
and family. The Scandinavian style of living is so popular in these<br />
times because, despite its modern forms with its many colours, natural<br />
materials and tasteful decoration ideas, it comes very close to<br />
the dream of a cosy home. But there is also a new desire for trendy<br />
colours and shapes as well as a longing for an artistic ambience<br />
that no longer quite fits in with the natural image of Scandinavian<br />
living. In addition, many exhibitors at imm cologne 20<strong>19</strong> presented<br />
practical solutions for smaller apartments.<br />
The dining room is also becoming fashionable again. The table,<br />
however, is used multifunctionally rather than just for eating.<br />
A trend opposing the current tendency towards homeliness is the<br />
cosy minimalism with its clean desk look in matt surfaces and<br />
warm colours. Cool and cuddly: a promising duo.<br />
