Five beings: passing by, lingering, moving on. They have
landed in a body with two legs and twice five fingers on a
seemingly round earth. To change their standpoint, they
play with their own axis, questioning their verticality and the
thoughts that spring from a head that sits on top.

FÜR PAPIER, SCHRIFT UND DRUCK
Situated in a medieval paper mill, this museum illustrates
the book-production process from handmade paper to
finished book. Its substantial collection presents the history
of paper, scripture and print, while the on-site paper
manufactory invites visitors to watch paper being made –
or even try it out for themselves.
13.1. – 2.4.2023 Postal Art – Letters Around the World
The travelling exhibition Postal Artist Books shows a
collection of fanfolds and artist books by 68 artists from
34 countries. The objects created during the pandemic arose
out of an exchange between two artists and were exhibited
for the first time in São Paulo.

Switzerland’s only museum and centre of excellence devoted
exclusively to the art of narrative drawing is committed to
collecting individual works, curating exhibitions and sharing
knowledge about the genre. It thus contributes to the debate
about the art of narrative drawing and the social and political
issues it addresses.
11.3. – 18.6.2023 Will Eisner. Graphic Novel Godfather
A Will Eisner (1917–2005) retrospective in Switzerland
with original drawings. Eisner was an artist, writer, theorist
and one of the founding fathers of modern comics.
He created the gangster hunter The Spirit, followed later
by ambitious graphic novels and non-fiction books on comics.
