KUNSTHALLE BASEL
Kunsthalle Basel has been dedicated to exhibiting, debating
and reflecting on contemporary art ever since it was founded
in 1872. As one of the region’s oldest and most active
contemporary art institutions, Kunsthalle Basel is famous
for its support of up-and-coming artists.

Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili (b. 1979) presents an ensemble
of large-scale, quasi-abstract, almost diaphanous photographic
images that she developed specifically for the outdoor
context of the rear wall of Kunsthalle Basel.
20.1.–21.5.2023 LuYang. LuYang Vibratory Field
LuYang (b. 1984) melds the philosophical, spiritual and
wildly playful for this first show of hers in Switzerland.
Filled with colourful video animations, avatars, K-Pop and
video games, the computer-generated cosmos devised
by this Shanghai-born artist promises to be spectacular.
