DANGER OF ACID BURNS!
The battery contains toxic sulphuric acid. Skin contact (also through
clothing) can cause severe burns.
• Avoid all contact with the eyes, skin and clothing.
FIRST AID IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH BATTERY ACID
Carry out the following fi rst aid measures if you come into contact with
battery acid:
EYE CONTACT:
Rinse out the affected eye with clean water for at least 15 minutes. Consult
a doctor immediately.
INGESTION:
Drink large amounts of water or milk. Call a doctor immediately.
SKIN CONTACT:
Rinse with large amounts of water. Consult a doctor immediately.
Old batteries contain pollutants. They must be taken back by the distributor
and disposed of professionally or handed in to a special collection
point. Never throw old batteries in the domestic waste. Please also observe
national regulations.
The motor scooter is equipped with a maintenance-free battery. The battery is in the
foot space underneath the foot board panelling.
Procedure for longer standstill times:
If the scooter is not used for longer than one month the battery should be removed and
stored in a cool, dry place. The battery must be recharged regularly, otherwise it will
discharge totally.
Totally discharged batteries cannot be recharged. There is no warranty.
