Warranty
Warranty
1. Perfect condition of the motor scooter in material and manufacture in accordance
with the state of the art is guaranteed from the date of purchase of the scooter for
the legal warranty period. The warranty obligations can be fulfi lled at our discretion
by repairs to the motor scooter. The malfunction and its causes are always examined
by our authorised workshops and includes:
Repair or replacement of the defective component
Working time
Spare parts delivery for the repair work within the scope of the warranty
Replaced parts will become our property.
2. For eligible warranty claims, the costs for shipping and the costs for disassembly and
installation will be charged at our expense. The warranty claim must be proven by
presenting the receipt of purchase and the stamped warranty card.
3. The buyer agrees to use the purchased vehicle for no other purpose than that as
designated in the operating instructions.
4. The warranty expires if the motor scooter is modifi ed by third parties, or changed by
installing outside parts, or defects that occur in initial conjunction with the change.
Further, the warranty claim also expires if the regulations regarding the management
of the motor scooter (operating instructions) are not observed.
5. Not included in the warranty:
Refi lling of lubricants, special fl uids and various consumable materials that is not
in connection with repair work for acknowledged malfunctions.
All maintenance work or other work that developed due to wear, accident or operating
conditions as well as riding with disregard to the manufacturer's specifi cations.
All events, such as noise development, vibrations, wear, etc. that do not affect the
vehicle and riding qualities.
Minor leaks of oil or other liquids from seals which do not alter the liquid level.
Damage caused by:
– fuel deposits in the carburetor caused by standstill
– installing parts by third parties or the efforts of the user to remedy the damage
himself
– not using original spare parts
– damage caused by rocks, hail, road salt, industrial emissions, lack of care, unsuitable
care products, etc.
