Charging the battery:<br />

DANGER OF DAMAGE DUE TO OPERATING ERRORS!<br />
Read the battery charger instructions carefully before charging the battery!<br />
Make sure that the poles are not reversed when connecting the battery to<br />
the charger!<br />
red = +<br />
black = –<br />
Use an MTF charger for charging. The charger is available as a special<br />
accessory.<br />
1. Disconnect both cables from the battery poles.<br />
2. Connect the battery cables to the battery charger.<br />
Fuse<br />
WARNING<br />
DANGER OF DAMAGE DUE TO OPERATING ERRORS!<br />
Danger of fi re when using the wrong fuse.<br />
Only use a 15A fuse.<br />
If a replaced fuse blows again, you must have the electrical system checked<br />
by a qualifi ed person.<br />
The fuse is in the battery compartment. The motor scooter is equipped with a 15A fuse.<br />
Changing:<br />
1. Turn the ignition key to and switch off all circuits.<br />
2. Open the cap of the fuse holder.<br />
3. Replace the fuse with an identical 15A fuse.<br />
The headlight and the taillight are supplied directly by the dynamo and are<br />
not fused.<br />
