DANGER OF ACID BURNS!<br />
Brake fl uid is aggressive and can burn your skin or attack and damage the<br />
paintwork.<br />
• Avoid all contact with the eyes, skin and clothing.<br />
• Clean up spilled or leaked brake fl uid immediately.<br />
MORTAL DANGER!<br />
Air can get into the brake system if there is a lack of brake fl uid; this has<br />
a negative infl uence on the effect of the brakes.<br />
Top up the brake fl uid if it has dropped below the minimum mark. Have<br />
this done by a trained person only.<br />
A lack of brake fl uid may be a sign of a leak in the brake system or wear<br />
on the disc brake liners. Therefore also check the brake liners for wear.<br />
DANGER OF ACCIDENTS DUE TO OPERATING ERRORS!<br />
Make sure the brake fl uid tank is in the horizontal position when reading<br />
the fl uid level.<br />
Check that the brake fl uid is above the minimum<br />
mark before every ride.<br />
1. Look through the inspection window in the<br />
brake fl uid tank at the right or left hand end of<br />
the handlebars.<br />
2. If the level drops below the minimum mark, top<br />
it up with brake fl uid of specifi cation “DOT-3” or<br />
“DOT-4”.<br />
