Changing the engine oil<br />
Changing the engine oil:<br />
Change the engine oil for the fi rst time after <strong>50</strong>0 km and then every 4,000 km.<br />
WARNING<br />
Danger of damage due to operating errors!<br />
Make sure that no foreign bodies can get into the engine housing when<br />
changing or fi lling the engine oil.<br />
Oil type: 10 W/40<br />
Oil volume: 0,8 l (when changing)<br />
1,0 l (total capacity)<br />
1. Let the engine run warm briefl y and then switch<br />
it off again.<br />
2. Place an oil tray underneath the engine to collect<br />
the old oil.<br />
3. Remove the dipstick and then the oil drain plug<br />
21. The old oil drains off.<br />
4. Then screw the drain plug back in tight.<br />
5. Fill in the new engine oil (0.8 l) with a funnel.<br />
6. Use the dipstick to measure the oil level as described on page 23.<br />
