Warranty
The following components, except obvious material or manufacturing faults (e.g.
breakage, incorrect assembly, erosion, etc.).
components which are changed during normal maintenance work, e.g. – air fi lter –
oil – spark plugs – brake fl uid – coolant
components which are subject to wear, e.g.:
– clutch discs – brake liners – variator-centrifugal force masses (roller cores,
V-belts) – cables – lamps – fuses – seat seals – adhesive labels – exhaust – tyres
– battery (max. 6 months warranty) – stands – seats – cooler
Costs for maintenance, inspection and cleaning work are not covered by the warranty.
I. No claims can be made under the warranty for defects caused by failure to
carry out maintenance at all or on time.
II. Warranty claims only authorise the customer to demand the elimination of the
defect. Claims for repudiation of contract or reduction of the purchase price
only apply after subsequent improvement fails.
III. The examination and decision about a warranty claim is incumbent upon the
manufacturer.
IV. The replacement of direct or indirect damage will not be granted.
6. Warranty claims will only be acknowledged when they are registered with a KREIDLER
dealer immediately after discovering the defect.
7. An executed warranty will neither renew nor extend the period of warranty.
8. Arrangements other than the above-mentioned only then apply if they are confi rmed
by the manufacturer in writing.
