Cleaning/care<br />
The brake fl uid must be changed at the intervals specifi ed in the maintenance<br />
schedule. Have this done by a trained person only.<br />
Regular and proper cleaning is an important factor for a good value retention of your<br />
motor scooter. Components which are important for safety then retain their full function.<br />

• Stand the motor scooter on the main stand for cleaning.<br />
• Aggressive or penetrating solvents can damage rubber and plastic parts!<br />
Only use mild cleaners or water, perhaps with a few drops of washing up<br />
liquid, for cleaning.<br />
• If using cleaning agents observe the manufacturer's specifi cations!<br />
• The water pressure of steam and high pressure water jet cleaners can<br />
cause damage to seals, the hydraulic brake system and the entire electrical<br />
system. Never use steam or high pressure water jet cleaners!<br />
RISK OF ACCIDENT!<br />
• Always test the brakes after cleaning!<br />
DANGER OF DAMAGE TO THE ENVIRONMENT!<br />
• Only use carwash products which are compliant with the washing and<br />
cleaning agent law and are registered with the Federal Environmental<br />
Agency. They must consist of biodegradable, wash-active substances<br />
(detergents).<br />
• Keep leftover care and cleaning agents in the original packing and take<br />
them to a collection point.<br />
