Engine oil ·measuring the engine oil level<br />
Engine oil (only Jigger <strong>50</strong> <strong>City</strong> )<br />
Check the engine oil level before every ride. Please note that the engine oil must be<br />
changed at the intervals described in the maintenance schedule.<br />

DANGER FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!<br />
Oil may not leak into the drain system or the ground - danger of contamination<br />
of drinking water!<br />
Collect old oil carefully and hand it in for old oil recycling.<br />
DANGER OF DAMAGE DUE TO OPERATING ERRORS!<br />
If the vehicle is tilted to the side when measuring the oil level, this can<br />
lead to incorrect measurement.<br />
• Make sure that the vehicle is standing upright when measuring the oil<br />
level.<br />
• Make sure that no foreign bodies can get into the engine housing when<br />
changing or fi lling the engine oil.<br />
Measuring the engine oil level:<br />
1. Place the vehicle upright on the main stand on a<br />
level surface.<br />
2. Let the engine idle for about 5 minutes.<br />
3. Stop the engine and wait a few minutes.<br />
4. Then unscrew the dipstick 20 20<br />
and wipe it off.<br />
5. Check the oil level by placing the dipstick on<br />
the thread. The oil level should be between the<br />
minimum and maximum marks (within the shaded area).<br />
6. You have to top up the engine oil through tthe fi lling neck if the oil level is too<br />
low.<br />
7. Then reinsert the dipstick into the fi lling neck and screw the cap on tight.<br />
