iv. Coordination with industries and service oriented agencies for employment of
trained candidates.
v. Conducting Job Melas and Campus Interviews as part of placement services.
vi. Emphasis on promoting self-employment skills in potential service areas/trades
like fitter, electrician etc., and also petty/small enterprises.
vii. Post -Placement Support Services for higher retention.
viii. Establishment of Skill Development Fund to provide gap finance for training
and placement activities.
ix. Establishing IT based Web-portal for implementation and monitoring of the
programme (http://ryk.cgg.gov.in).
1.2.4 Non-Negotiables
i. Call letter for training shall be given to every candidate within three months of
registration.
ii. A minimum of 40 % coverage in trainings and placements shall be from SC
and ST category.
iii. Coverage of women in trainings and placements shall be a minimum of 40%.
iv. At least 70% of the trainings shall result in placement.
v. Placement details shall be disclosed to candidates before the commencement of
training.
vi. Post placement services shall be given to all youth who accessed Jobs under
RYK
1.2.5 Target Group of RYK
i. Workers seeking skills and funding for self- employment
ii. School drop-outs and non- literate unemployed youth
iii. ITI / polytechnic/ graduates (technical & non-technical)/ Post-graduate seeking
employable skills for private placements.
