activities, prerequisites, and desired training flow for<br />

Advanced MNTS.<br />

23. Outcomes. Potential courses <strong>of</strong> action following a Progress<br />

Check (XXX88/89). There are only two outcomes:<br />

a. Pass – Return to training.<br />

b. Fail – Proceed with the elimination process/eliminate.<br />

24. Phase <strong>of</strong> <strong>Training</strong>. A major division in the course <strong>of</strong><br />

training.<br />

25. Progress Check Instructor. An instructor authorized to<br />

administer initial (XXX88) or final (XXX89) progress checks.<br />

26. Ready Room Unsatisfactory. An unsatisfactory grade given<br />

for inadequate knowledge <strong>of</strong> flight procedures, systems, discuss<br />

items, emergency procedures, or deficient preflight planning.<br />

27. Special Syllabus Requirement. A one-time, ungraded<br />

demonstration item.<br />
